Paul
Corey (b 1969) in Watertown, NY. Paul graduated
from John C. Birdlebough High School in Phoenix, NY. At eighteen
years old, Paul enlisted in the U.S. Army. Many lessons are learned
there that apply not only to the military but, to life in general
and business especially. Learning to lead and to participate as
part of a team and to do whatever it takes to accomplish your goals
are important experiences that will be with him for the rest of
his life. The only natural thing to do after the military when you
serve in Combat Arms is to enter the field of Law Enforcement. Paul
served for a number of years in the Franklin County Sheriff's Office
in Columbus, Ohio. It was while working for the Sheriff's Office
at an off-duty job that Paul first got interested in business as
a career. Paul arrived in Montgomery County when his family moved
here ten years ago. It is his intention to transfer to the University
of Maryland and the Smith School of Business at College Park. His
goal is to stay in school and receive a Master's degree in Business
Administration. Paul wants to minor in Human Resource Management
and Finance. As a returning student, he is grateful for the opportunities
available at Montgomery College and especially those provided by
the Macklin Business Institute. He is active in community service
including four years of volunteering with Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
