Montgomery College to Celebrate Renovated Library and Resource Center at Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus

WHAT: Montgomery College will host a celebration for the grand reopening of its newly renovated Library and Resource Center at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. The event will feature remarks from College leadership, local and state officials, library tours, networking opportunities, and photo moments with community leaders.

WHEN: Friday, Sept. 26, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

WHERE: Resource Center (RC) at Montgomery College's Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. Address: 7600 Takoma Avenue, Takoma Park, MD 20912.

Program highlights:

  • 10–10:30 a.m.: Guest arrival, photo opportunities, light refreshments, and informal library tours
  • 10:30–11:10 a.m.: Formal program with remarks from College leaders and elected officials
  • 11:10 a.m.–Noon: Continued library tours, networking, photo opportunities, and refreshments
